About Gundur
Gundur is a repository and search engine for diagnostic processes — a place to find, follow, and build the step-by-step reasoning people use to figure out what's wrong and what to do about it.
Most of the content on Gundur is community-contributed: written by mechanics, repair technicians, IT troubleshooters, healthcare workers, educators, makers — the people who already do this thinking every day. AI fills the gaps where coverage is thin, drafting starter chains and suggesting branches so that no diagnostic question lands on an empty page. Those AI-drafted contributions are then reviewed, corrected, and verified by humans, so what stays in the repository is knowledge people stand behind.
Our mission
Build the world's most comprehensive, crowdsourced repository of diagnostic processes — and keep it free, for everyone, forever.
"Free" means no paywalls on knowledge. There is no subscription tier between you and any diagnostic on Gundur. The only paid offering we're considering is for companies that want to keep their own internal diagnostic trees private — for processes that are confidential to their business — and that won't cost the public anything either way.
Where we're going
The long bet: a world where solving a problem anywhere helps everyone, everywhere. As the repository grows, the platform gets smarter — not through bigger AI models, but through real outcomes. Which diagnostic paths got marked as resolved. Which remedies worked. Which branches dead-ended. Over time that becomes a kind of collective diagnostic intelligence — not "what does AI guess?" but "what actually solved this for someone else?"
Someone fixing a dishwasher in Lisbon today helps the next person who hits the same symptom in Buenos Aires next year. That's what we're trying to build.
How it works
Every diagnostic on Gundur lives inside an interactive tree. You start with the symptom, branch into possible causes, mark what's true and what's ruled out, and arrive at a remedy. Each node is a document — a small unit of knowledge that can be reused across many diagnostics. Together they form a living map of what's known about how things go wrong and what to do about it.
The structure stays human-readable and human-editable throughout. The goal isn't to replace expertise — it's to make expert reasoning visible, shareable, and improvable by the next person who hits the same problem.
Who it's for
Anyone whose work involves figuring out what's wrong before fixing it. If you've ever wished diagnostic knowledge was easier to find — and easier to share with the next person who hits the same problem — that's the gap Gundur is trying to close.
