Confirm this cause by removing the valve stem or cartridge and inspecting the valve seat located inside the faucet body. If the brass or plastic surface where the rubber washer makes contact appears pitted, corroded, or chipped, it will prevent a watertight seal, resulting in a continuous drip regardless of the condition of the washer.
