The Lucid Mobile Key system utilizes a dedicated Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocol to interface between a registered smartphone and the vehicle's onboard communication antenna. This system operates independently of standard audio or data Bluetooth connections to allow for passive entry and vehicle activation when the smartphone is in close proximity to the vehicle.
