White Smoke Due to Damaged Cylinder Head or Engine Block

Internal cracks in the cylinder head or engine block can allow coolant to bypass seals and enter the combustion chamber. Confirm this by using a cooling system pressure tester to determine if the system fails to hold pressure or if coolant is being forced into the cylinders while the engine is stationary.
