Tesla CP_a058 Unable to AC Charge - System Retry Failure

The CP_a058 alert indicates that the vehicle has failed to initiate AC charging after multiple attempts. This fault occurs when the vehicle detects one of the following conditions: the charge port is unable to detect the insertion of the charge cable or identify the cable type, the vehicle cannot sense a valid pilot control signal from the charging station, or communication between the vehicle and the external charging equipment has been repeatedly interrupted.
