Check for physical binding or excessive tension within the filament path. Inspect the spool holder on the rear of the machine and the entry points of the CANVAS multi-material unit for cross-over tangles. If the filament cannot feed freely, the extruder will experience 'skips' where it fails to push material, resulting in a gap in the print, followed by a resumption of extrusion that creates a spaghetti-like structure as the toolhead moves without a base to bond to.
