The BMS may enter a protection mode if the battery has been deeply discharged, preventing the system from accepting a charge. To diagnose this, verify the charger is functioning correctly but the battery remains unresponsive. If the battery voltage has dropped below the minimum threshold required for the BMS to authorize a connection, the system will remain in a locked state.
