The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) in Mitsubishi vehicles is designed to monitor the air pressure inside the pneumatic tires. Its primary purpose is to warn the driver when tire pressure is significantly low, which can lead to unsafe driving conditions, increased fuel consumption, and premature tire wear.
