SW900 Display Failure Due to Battery Management System (BMS) Protection Trip

The display may fail to power on because the battery's internal Battery Management System (BMS) has entered a protection state, effectively cutting off power output to the controller and the display. This often occurs following a short circuit, an over-current event (such as climbing a steep hill under heavy load), or if the battery voltage has dropped below the minimum threshold required for operation.

When the BMS is tripped, the battery discharge port will show 0V even if the battery is physically charged. To diagnose this, measure the voltage directly at the battery discharge terminals. If the voltage is 0V despite the battery being charged, the BMS may require a reset, which is typically achieved by plugging the battery into its dedicated charger for a short period to clear the fault state.
