SW900 Display Failure Due to Protocol Incompatibility

Even if the physical 5-pin connector fits the 1T4 wiring harness, the SW900 display must be compatible with the specific communication protocol used by the controller. SW900 units are often brand-specific, and internal firmware variations mean that a display intended for one controller brand may not recognize the handshake signal from another.

If the display receives power (VCC) but fails to initialize or show any data, it is likely that the data protocol (RX/TX communication) is mismatched. This is common when replacing a display with a unit sourced from a different manufacturer, as the pinout or the baud rate of the data signals may differ, preventing the system from completing the power-on sequence.
