INIU P50 188 Error Due to Internal Battery Failure

This is the most common cause of the '188' error, indicating the BMS has detected a compromised cell. Confirm this by connecting the unit to a 9V/2A power source for at least 3 hours. If the display remains fixed on '188' and the unit shows no signs of heat generation or increased charge percentage, the battery cells have likely reached a state of deep imbalance or terminal voltage drop, rendering them unable to accept or maintain a charge.
