Tesla Alert CC_a004 Unable to charge - Wall Connector hardware issue

The CC_a004 alert indicates an internal hardware failure within the Wall Connector that requires service. Possible causes for this alert include a malfunctioning contactor, a failure during the self-test of the internal ground fault monitoring circuit, a disconnected thermal sensor, or other internal hardware component issues.

To troubleshoot this alert, first attempt to disconnect the charge handle from the vehicle and reconnect it. If the issue persists, turn off the circuit breaker for the Wall Connector, wait 10 seconds, and turn the breaker back on before attempting to reconnect. If the alert continues, have an electrician verify that all wires are properly connected and torqued according to the Wall Connector Installation Manual. If the issue remains after these steps, the Wall Connector requires service.
