Mitsubishi Vehicle - Engine Starting Problems - Faulty Ignition Switch

To diagnose a failing ignition switch, test for electrical continuity while turning the key to the start position. If the dashboard warning lights do not illuminate at all, or if the starter motor fails to receive the ignition signal despite a fully charged battery and functional starter relay, the ignition switch may be failing to complete the electrical circuit required for ignition.
