EV Shaking During Acceleration Due to Motor Mount Wear

Motor mounts secure the heavy drive unit to the chassis. To diagnose failure, have an assistant shift the vehicle from Park to Drive while the parking brake is firmly engaged while you observe the motor movement. Excessive shifting, clunking noises, or visible cracks in the rubber mounting bushings indicate the mounts are failing to stabilize the drivetrain under torque.
