Check for sensor-related issues by verifying the integrity of the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor and the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor. Use a multimeter to test for proper voltage and resistance values at the sensor harness. A faulty ECT sensor will often report incorrect engine temperatures to the ECU, resulting in an improper air-fuel mixture that inhibits starting. Inspect all wiring looms for damaged insulation or loose terminal pins.
