The BMS_a067 alert is a protective state initiated by the vehicle's Battery Management System (BMS) when it detects that the high-voltage battery is operating outside of its optimal parameters. Unlike more critical faults, this code acts as a safeguard to prevent potential damage to the battery pack.
When this alert is active, the vehicle will intentionally restrict performance, resulting in reduced acceleration, slower Supercharging speeds, and potentially limited range. While the vehicle is typically safe to drive in this state, it indicates that the BMS has identified an underlying issue—such as a voltage imbalance between battery cells, thermal management irregularities, or a failing 12V battery—that requires professional diagnostic intervention to resolve.
