Follow these steps to remove obstructions from the external microphone ports to restore proper ANC functionality:
- Power off the headphones completely to prevent accidental input during cleaning.
- Inspect the small microphone apertures located on the exterior of the affected earcup for visible lint, dust, or debris.
- Using a clean, dry, and soft-bristled brush (such as a clean soft toothbrush or a fine-tip artist brush), gently sweep the microphone port to dislodge any trapped particles.
- If moisture or oils are present, use a dry, lint-free microfiber cloth to gently wipe the area. Do not use compressed air, liquids, or sharp objects, as these can damage the internal microphone diaphragm.
- Once the port is clear, power on the headphones and enable A.N.C. to verify that the wind-like noise has dissipated in a quiet environment.
