Safety Precaution: Before performing any maintenance, ensure the vacuum is powered off and disconnected from any power source, including the charger.
Tools Needed: A coin, and optionally, scissors or a seam ripper.
- Locate the end cap on the side of the cleaner head.
- Insert a coin into the slot on the end cap and rotate it anticlockwise until it unlocks.
- Slide the brush bar out of the cleaner head housing.
- Carefully remove all hair, fibers, or debris wrapped around the brush bar bristles and the spindle. Use scissors or a seam ripper to cut away tightly wrapped material if necessary.
- Inspect the motor spindle inside the housing to ensure it is also clear of any tangled debris.
- Reinsert the brush bar back into the cleaner head.
- Replace the end cap and use the coin to rotate it clockwise until it locks into place.
Verification: Once reassembled, manually rotate the brush bar by hand to confirm it spins freely without resistance before reconnecting the power source.
