1. Flip the table upside down on a clean, soft surface to protect the tabletop finish.
2. Inspect all bolts, nuts, and screws at the leg-to-apron junctions; use a wrench or screwdriver to tighten any loose fasteners. If fasteners loosen repeatedly, apply a thread-locking adhesive to the threads before re-tightening.
3. If glued joints show gaps, apply wood glue into the separation, clamp the joint firmly using wood clamps, and wipe away any excess glue with a damp cloth; allow the glue to cure fully before removing clamps.
4. For weak frames, install L-brackets at the inner corners to reinforce the connection; always drill pilot holes first to prevent the wood from splitting.
5. Once repairs are complete, flip the table upright and test for lateral stability by firmly pushing on each corner to ensure no independent movement remains.
