Follow these steps to restore electrical contact and resolve communication faults:
- Safety First: Ensure the eBike system is powered off and the battery is removed from the bike.
- Clean Battery Contacts: Inspect the metal contact pins on both the battery and the frame mount. If you observe debris, dust, or oxidation, gently clean them using a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use metal tools or harsh chemicals that could scratch the contact surfaces.
- Verify Battery Seating: Re-insert the battery into the mount. Press firmly until you hear a distinct "click," confirming it is fully locked into position. Ensure there is no lateral play or movement in the battery housing.
- Secure Wiring Harness: Trace the visible cables from the display and remote controller to their entry points. Ensure each connector is pushed firmly into its port. If any cables appear pinched or strained, adjust their routing to relieve tension.
- Verify Resolution: Power on the eBike system. If the system initializes without error codes and the motor engages, the connection has been successfully restored.
