If the Charging Port is damaged, it may need to be replaced. Follow the video for step-by -step instructions.
Remove body kit bolts.
Disconnect the battery power plug (orange).
Install the protective cover onto the power socket on the battery.
Disconnect the battery CAN bus connector.
Install the protective cover onto the CAN bus socket on the battery.
Disconnect the charging port sockets.
Untighten the charging port bolts.
Remove the charging port.
Place the new charging port in place.
Tighten the charging port bolts to 5 Nm.
Connect the charging port sockets.
Remove the protective cover from the CAN bus socket on the battery.
Connect the CAN bus connector to the battery.
Remove the protective cover from the power socket on the battery.
Connect the battery power plug.
Assemble the body kit.
Tighten the side bolts of the body kit to 40 Nm.
Tighten the rear center bolt to 8 Nm.
Tighten the side plate bolts to 5 Nm.
