1. Ensure the engine is off and the motorcycle is stable on a service stand. 2. Use a clean cloth dampened with water and mild soap to wipe down the surface of the drive belt and the teeth of both pulleys. 3. Remove any accumulated grit, small stones, or rubber shavings found in the pulley grooves. 4. Allow all components to air dry completely. 5. Do not apply any belt dressings or lubricants, as these attract debris and accelerate wear. 6. Verify the fix by performing a test ride at low speed to confirm the squeak has been eliminated.
