Replace the Main Board

Safety Precautions: Ensure the TV is disconnected from the power outlet for at least 60 minutes to allow capacitors to discharge. Work on a clean, non-conductive surface to prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage.

Tools Required: Phillips head screwdriver, plastic pry tool, replacement main board (matching your TV model and serial number version).

1. Place the TV face down on a soft, flat surface.
2. Use the screwdriver to remove all screws securing the back panel and gently lift the panel away using the pry tool.
3. Locate the main board, which is the primary circuit board where your HDMI and power cables connect.
4. Carefully disconnect all ribbon cables and wiring harnesses attached to the main board, noting their original positions for reassembly.
5. Remove the screws securing the main board to the chassis and lift the old board out.
6. Align the new main board with the mounting points and secure it with the screws removed in the previous step.
7. Reconnect all ribbon cables and wire harnesses, ensuring each connector is fully seated and clicked into place.
8. Reattach the back panel and secure it with the screws.
9. Plug the TV into a wall outlet and power it on to verify the boot loop has been resolved and the television initializes the OS successfully.
