Follow these steps to replace the weak battery in your Opel Mokka key fob:
- Obtain a fresh CR2032 or CR2025 coin cell battery as specified in your vehicle owner's manual.
- Use a small flat-head screwdriver to carefully pry open the key fob casing at the designated seam.
- Remove the exhausted battery from the internal housing, noting the positive (+) and negative (-) orientation.
- Insert the new battery, ensuring it is clean, free of oils, and firmly seated in the correct polarity.
- Snap the fob casing halves back together until they are flush and fully secured.
- Verify the fix by attempting to start the vehicle normally without using the emergency induction procedure; the engine should start immediately upon pressing the Start/Stop button.
