Replace the Integrated PCV Valve Cover Assembly

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal for safety. 2. Remove the ignition coil pack and engine cover. 3. Disconnect the PCV breather hoses connected to the valve cover. 4. Remove all mounting bolts and carefully lift the valve cover, ensuring no debris falls into the cylinder head. 5. Clean the mating surface on the cylinder head thoroughly. 6. Install a new valve cover assembly with a fresh gasket, tightening bolts in a star pattern to the manufacturer's specified torque. 7. Reconnect all hoses and the ignition coil pack. 8. Reconnect the battery and clear the P0171 code using an OBD-II scanner to verify the fuel trims return to normal levels.
