Tools: Prescribed Methimazole, pill pocket or soft treat, clean water.
Steps:

1. Wash your hands thoroughly before handling medication.
2. Place the pill inside a small piece of soft treat or a pill pocket.
3. Offer the treat to the cat at the same time every day to maintain consistent blood levels.
4. Ensure the cat swallows the entire treat by monitoring them for a few seconds.
5. Provide fresh water immediately after administration.

Safety: Wear gloves if you are pregnant or nursing, as this medication can be absorbed through the skin. Verification: Schedule a follow-up blood test with your veterinarian in 2–4 weeks to confirm T4 levels have returned to the normal range.
