If you have verified that the controller is successfully outputting battery voltage to the display connector but the display remains unresponsive, the internal circuitry of the display unit has likely failed. Follow these steps to replace it:
- Disconnect the main battery from the controller to prevent short circuits.
- Unplug the 1T4 wiring harness connector from the back of the current SW900 display.
- Remove the mounting bracket screws and detach the faulty display from the handlebars.
- Install the new SW900 display unit onto the handlebars and firmly reconnect the 1T4 cable, ensuring the alignment arrows on the connectors are perfectly matched.
- Reconnect the battery and power on the system to verify that the display now initializes correctly.
