Clean and Sanitize the Build Plate Surface

To restore optimal adhesion and resolve spaghetti failures caused by surface contamination, follow these steps:

  1. Remove the build plate: Carefully remove the build plate from the printer's magnetic base.
  2. Prepare cleaning solution: Use warm water and a small amount of mild, grease-cutting dish soap. Do not use harsh solvents or abrasive cleaners.
  3. Wash the surface: Use a clean, non-abrasive sponge to scrub the entire surface of the build plate. Ensure you reach the edges.
  4. Rinse and dry: Thoroughly rinse the plate with clean water to remove all soap residue. Dry the plate completely using a clean, lint-free microfiber cloth or paper towel.
  5. Handle with care: Reinstall the plate onto the magnetic base, being careful to touch only the edges of the plate. Avoid touching the center printing area with your fingers, as skin oils will re-contaminate the surface.

Verification: Perform a test print of a small, flat object (like a leveling test square) to confirm that the first layer adheres firmly to the surface without curling or detaching.
