To mitigate heat creep and filament-related extrusion issues during long prints, perform the following:
- Manage Chamber Temperature: During long prints, open the top lid or front door of the P1S to allow excess heat to escape, preventing the filament from softening prematurely in the extruder.
- Dry Filament: Use a dedicated filament dryer to remove moisture from your material, as wet filament can cause inconsistent extrusion and pressure buildup.
- Verification: Monitor the print after these adjustments to ensure the extruder gear maintains consistent grip without slipping or grinding.
