Adjust Surface Transmittance and Enable Section Transparency

Follow these steps to ensure elements render with proper transparency in your Archicad sections:

1. Right-click the Section marker in your project and select Section Selection Settings.
2. Navigate to the Model Display pane and ensure the Transparency checkbox is enabled.
3. Go to Options > Element Attributes > Surfaces to open the Surface Settings dialog.
4. Select the surface material assigned to the elements that are appearing opaque.
5. Locate the Transmittance setting and increase the value to greater than 49 (a value of 51 or higher is recommended for consistent visual results).
6. Click OK to save the changes and regenerate the Section view to verify the elements now appear transparent.
