Safety Precautions: Ensure the appliance is powered off and the water supply faucet is completely closed before starting. Have a towel or small basin ready to catch residual water remaining in the hose.
Tools Needed: Pliers (if the coupling is overtightened) and a clean water source.
Steps:
- Turn off the water supply at the household faucet.
- Unscrew the water inlet hose coupling from the faucet connection.
- Carefully remove the small mesh screen filter located inside the hose coupling, using pliers if necessary.
- Rinse the mesh filter thoroughly under running water to remove all sediment, sand, and mineral deposits.
- Reinsert the clean filter into the hose coupling.
- Reconnect the hose to the faucet and tighten it securely by hand.
- Turn the water supply back on and check for any leaks at the connection point.
- Run a short cycle on the appliance to verify that the F12 error has been cleared.
