Tools Needed: Keyboard (for navigation), Internet connection (optional).
Steps:
- Press the Windows Key + X simultaneously and use the arrow keys to highlight Device Manager, then press Enter.
- Use the Tab key to move to the device list and the Down Arrow to navigate to 'Mice and other pointing devices'.
- Press the Right Arrow to expand the category.
- Highlight your mouse, press the Menu key (or Shift + F10) to open the context menu.
- Select Uninstall device and press Enter.
- Restart your computer using the power menu. Windows will automatically detect the hardware and reinstall the necessary drivers upon reboot.
Verification: Once the system restarts, check if the cursor moves when the mouse is used. The device should appear in the Device Manager without any warning icons.
