Install the bypass adapter onto the existing valve cover port to seal the internal leak. 4. Route the provided high-temperature vacuum hose from the adapter to the designated intake manifold vacuum port. 5. Secure all hose connections with high-quality clamps to prevent further unmetered air intake. 6. Verify the seal by performing a smoke test at the intake system. 7. Clear the engine management light and monitor fuel trims via an OBD-II scanner during a test drive to ensure the lean condition is resolved.
