Perform a Hard BMS Reset on EGO Battery

Safety Precautions: Ensure the battery is disconnected from the charger before beginning. Handle the lithium-ion battery with care to avoid damage to the casing.

Steps:

1. Remove the battery from the charging unit and place it on a stable, non-conductive surface.
2. Locate the fuel gauge button on the battery housing.
3. Press the fuel gauge button three times in rapid succession.
4. On the third press, immediately hold the button down for 7 to 10 seconds.
5. Monitor the LED indicator lights on the battery; the reset is successful when the lights flash green, indicating the internal BMS logic has re-initialized.
6. Re-insert the battery into the charger to verify that the charging cycle initiates normally.
