Clean and Secure Under-Seat Airbag Wiring Connectors

Safety Warning: Disconnect the vehicle's negative battery terminal and wait at least 15 minutes before proceeding to prevent accidental airbag deployment.

1. Locate the yellow SRS wiring harness connector situated beneath the affected front seat.
2. Carefully disconnect the harness by releasing the locking tab.
3. Inspect the metal terminals inside the connector for signs of oxidation, debris, or looseness.
4. Apply a high-quality electronic contact cleaner to both sides of the connector terminals.
5. Allow the cleaner to dry completely, then firmly reconnect the harness until it clicks into the locked position.
6. Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
7. Start the vehicle and verify that the SRS warning light remains off, ensuring the system has successfully cleared the high-resistance fault.
