- Locate the yellow SRS wiring harness connector situated beneath the affected front seat.
- Carefully disconnect the harness by releasing the locking tab.
- Inspect the metal terminals inside the connector for signs of oxidation, debris, or looseness.
- Apply a high-quality electronic contact cleaner to both sides of the connector terminals.
- Allow the cleaner to dry completely, then firmly reconnect the harness until it clicks into the locked position.
- Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
- Start the vehicle and verify that the SRS warning light remains off, ensuring the system has successfully cleared the high-resistance fault.
