Replace the Ignition Condenser

A failing condenser often causes inconsistent spark. To replace it:

1. Locate the condenser mounted on the side of the distributor housing.
2. Disconnect the low-tension wire connecting the condenser to the points terminal.
3. Remove the mounting screw and pull the old condenser out.
4. Insert the new condenser and secure it with the mounting screw, ensuring a clean ground contact.
5. Attach the wire lead to the points terminal.
6. Start the engine to verify that the spark remains steady and the engine runs without misfiring.
