Perform a Hard Reboot of the Tesla Cybertruck Touchscreen

This procedure forces the vehicle's primary computer to re-initialize, clearing the software process hang.

  1. Ensure the vehicle is safely parked in a secure location and the parking brake is engaged.
  2. Locate the two scroll wheels on either side of the steering wheel.
  3. Simultaneously press and hold down both scroll wheels until the main touchscreen display goes completely black.
  4. Continue holding the scroll wheels until the Tesla logo appears on the screen, indicating the system is rebooting.
  5. Wait for the touchscreen to fully reload the user interface, which confirms the primary OS has successfully re-initialized.
