To resolve signal incompatibility, you must ensure your video source outputs a format compliant with the HyperDeck's broadcast requirements.

1. Verify the HyperDeck model's technical specifications for supported resolutions and frame rates (e.g., 1080p, 1080i, or 4K).
2. If outputting from a computer, connect the source to a monitor to access display settings.
3. Use an EDID minder or software utilities such as SwitchResX to force the computer's output to a strict broadcast-compliant standard that matches the HyperDeck's input settings.
4. Connect the adjusted signal to the HyperDeck's SDI or HDMI IN port.
5. Observe the HyperDeck's built-in screen; a successful fix is confirmed when the display reflects the incoming video signal instead of remaining dark.
