Replace the LED Power Supply or Driver

Safety Warning: Turn off power at the circuit breaker before opening the fixture housing. Verify power is off using a non-contact voltage tester before touching any internal wiring.

  1. Access the interior of the light fixture to locate the failed LED driver.
  2. Disconnect the AC input wires and the DC output wires leading to the LED array by unscrewing the wire nuts or releasing the quick-connect terminals.
  3. Remove the old driver from its mounting position.
  4. Obtain a replacement driver that exactly matches the original unit's voltage and current output specifications (e.g., constant current/constant voltage ratings).
  5. Mount the new driver in the fixture, ensuring it is securely fastened.
  6. Reconnect the AC input wires to the line side and the DC output wires to the LED array, ensuring all connections are tight and color-coded correctly.
  7. Restore power at the circuit breaker and test the fixture to ensure the LEDs illuminate.
