Reinstall Windows with Automated Partitioning

To resolve partition configuration issues, perform a clean installation to allow Windows to manage space optimally:

  1. Back up all essential data to an external drive.
  2. Boot your computer from the Windows 11 installation media (USB).
  3. At the 'Where do you want to install Windows?' screen, select each existing partition on your system drive and click Delete until the entire disk shows as 'Unallocated Space'.
  4. Select the 'Unallocated Space' and click Next. The installer will automatically create the correct EFI, MSR, and system partitions with appropriate sizes.
  5. Complete the installation process.

Verification: Once installed, check Disk Management to confirm that the C: partition reflects the full available capacity minus the automatically managed system partitions.
