Replace Worn Chain, Cassette, and Chainrings

Tools Needed: Chain breaker tool, chain whip, cassette lockring tool, adjustable wrench, and new, compatible drivetrain components (chain, cassette, and chainrings).

Steps:

1. Use the chain breaker tool to remove the old chain.
2. Use the chain whip and cassette lockring tool to remove the old cassette from the rear wheel hub.
3. Inspect the chainring teeth; if they exhibit 'shark-fin' or hooked wear, use the appropriate crank-specific tools to remove the chainrings and install new ones.
4. Install the new cassette onto the hub and tighten the lockring securely.
5. Install the new chain, sizing it correctly according to your drivetrain's manufacturer specifications, and connect it using the provided master link or connecting pin.

Safety Precautions: Wear gloves to protect hands from sharp teeth and grease. Ensure the bike is stabilized in a repair stand or held securely before applying force to tools.

Verification: Ride the bike under moderate load, specifically in the gears where slipping previously occurred, to ensure the new components mesh smoothly without jumping or skipping.
