Repair Damaged Wheel Speed Sensor Wiring

1. Locate the wiring harness leading to the affected wheel speed sensor. 2. Inspect the insulation for fraying, chafing, or exposed copper wiring caused by road contact or vibration. 3. If damage is found, disconnect the negative battery terminal for safety. 4. Cut out the damaged section of wire and solder in a new piece of high-temperature automotive-grade wire, or replace the damaged pigtail connector entirely. 5. Seal all connections using heat-shrink tubing to prevent moisture intrusion. 6. Reconnect the battery and verify the lights remain off during a test drive.
