Terminate Active Charging Session

Safety Warning: Do not use excessive force to pull the connector, as this may damage the locking mechanism or charge port.

1. Access the charging station's physical or digital interface and select the 'Stop' or 'End Session' command to halt the flow of electricity.
2. Alternatively, open your vehicle's mobile app or interact with the vehicle's touchscreen infotainment system to confirm the charging status is set to 'Stop Charging' or 'Charge Complete'.
3. Wait for the vehicle's charge port indicator light to change color or turn off, signaling that the communication handshake has ended and the safety locking pin has retracted.
4. Verify the fix by gently pulling the charging handle; it should now release smoothly from the charge port.
