If the peeling is limited to small sections, you can perform a localized repair using a specialized seam sealant.
- Clean the area thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol to remove accumulated body oils and residue that prevent adhesion.
- Apply a thin, even layer of a flexible seam sealant, such as Seam Grip WP, directly beneath the loose section of tape.
- Press the tape firmly back against the fabric, using a blunt tool or your fingers to ensure the adhesive makes full contact.
- Wipe away any excess sealant that squeezes out from the edges immediately using a clean cloth.
- Allow the garment to cure in a well-ventilated area for 12–24 hours before use to ensure the bond is fully set.
