Clear Jammed Flywheel and Reset Overload Protector

Safety Warning: Turn off the circuit breaker before beginning. Never place hands inside the disposal.

1. Insert the appropriate size Allen wrench into the maintenance hole at the center bottom of the unit.
2. Rotate the wrench back and forth to manually break the obstruction and free the grinding plate.
3. If no access hole exists, use a wooden broom handle in the sink to gently leverage the impeller plate until it rotates freely.
4. Once the jam is clear, press the red or black Reset Button located on the bottom of the unit.
5. Turn the power back on and run water to verify the disposal operates smoothly without clunking.
