Replace the Damaged Power Cord

Safety Precautions: Ensure the toaster is completely unplugged from the wall outlet before beginning. Never attempt to repair the cord while it is connected to a power source.

Tools Required: Screwdriver (compatible with your model's casing screws), wire strippers, replacement power cord, wire nuts or soldering iron, and electrical tape.

Steps:

1. Open the toaster's outer casing by removing the screws, ensuring you keep track of all components.
2. Locate the point where the power cord enters the toaster and identify the internal terminal connection.
3. Disconnect the old power cord by unscrewing the terminals or untwisting the wire connections.
4. Install the new power cord by securing the wires to the corresponding terminals or connectors inside the unit. Ensure all connections are tight and insulated.
5. Reassemble the outer casing and secure all screws.
6. Verification: Plug the toaster into a known-working outlet and attempt to operate it. If the unit powers on and the heating elements engage, the repair is successful.
