Correct Propeller Installation and Orientation

Safety Warning: Before performing any work on the propulsion system, remove all propellers to ensure the drone cannot spin up accidentally and cause injury.

  1. Consult your manufacturer's diagram to identify the specific rotation requirement (Clockwise or Counter-Clockwise) for each motor arm.
  2. Remove all propellers from the motor shafts.
  3. Examine each propeller for markings indicating its rotation type (e.g., CW or CCW).
  4. Position each propeller on the corresponding motor arm as specified by the manufacturer's diagram.
  5. Verify correct orientation by looking from above: ensure the leading edge of each propeller blade is angled in the direction of that motor's rotation.
  6. Secure all propellers firmly to the motor shafts.
  7. Perform a test flight in a safe, open area to confirm the drone maintains level flight upon takeoff.
