1. Secure the vehicle on jack stands and remove the wheel corresponding to the code identified by the diagnostic scan tool. 2. Unbolt the mounting screw securing the faulty wheel speed sensor to the spindle or hub assembly. 3. Carefully pull the sensor out and disconnect the electrical harness connector. 4. Install the new sensor, ensuring it is seated fully in the housing to maintain the correct air gap with the tone ring. 5. Secure the mounting bolt and reconnect the electrical harness. 6. Reinstall the wheel and clear any stored chassis codes using a compatible scan tool to verify the system returns to normal operation.
