- Remove the front brake caliper mounting bolts.
- Slide the caliper off the rotor; do not let it hang by the brake line.
- Remove the brake pads and clean the caliper housing with brake cleaner.
- Remove, clean, and lightly lubricate the caliper sliding pins with high-temperature brake grease.
- Reinstall the pads and caliper, ensuring the rotor is centered.
- Pump the brake lever several times to seat the pads before riding.
- Verify the fix by rotating the wheel to ensure it spins freely without a dragging sound.
