Constant Velocity (CV) joints transfer power from the motor to the wheels and are the most common cause of acceleration-specific vibration. To confirm, perform a visual inspection of the CV boots for tears, cracks, or signs of grease leakage (a spray pattern around the wheel hub). A technician can further verify by manually checking the axle shafts for excessive play or clicking sounds when the vehicle is lifted and the wheels are rotated under load.
